Very gratifying to post my action on today’s short “M” (June – but you already know that hopefully) Canadian $$.In truth I had to chase this one a bit. When the selling started I was integrating the daily down into the hourly, seeing the momentum pick up so I went into the 15 minute. Couldn’t wait around and I loaded up the 5 minute chart to chase my entry idea. Didn’t get short until 77260. I could have been a lot earlier (wanted 72285) but I was still feeling gloomy after studying the CPI data and found myself slow to pull the trigger.
Kept pulling down my stop loss until letting it sleep just over the double top on the 15 minute just a tick over 77085. Finally pulled it down to 77000 and got taken out.
Went to Costco and bought some Rib Eye Steaks just for the hell of it. A very pleasurable morning.
